Monster Double Smoked BLT

This classic club is large enough to feed four — although we won't tell if you don't share!

by Perdue Farms Corporate Chefs | June 2021 | Yield: 2 to 4 Servings

What could be better than a club sandwich, piled high? A BLT club sandwich, of course! This monster club is perfect for game day, picnics, lunchtime or even a late-night snack.

For best results, use Niman Ranch bacon and a European-style bread that is strong enough to support four layers of goodness.

Step 1: Cook Bacon

Preheat oven to 325 F. Arrange bacon in a single layer on a baking tray. Place tray in oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until desired doneness.

Step 2: Prepare Bread Slices

Toast both sides of all bread.

Step 3: Build Your Stack

Spread about one tablespoon of mayonnaise on a slice of bread. Place 2 to 3 tomato slices, a lettuce leaf and 3 to 4 strips of bacon on top of bread. Spread mayonnaise on a second slice of bread, place it atop the first layer and continue layering with tomato slices, lettuce and bacon. Continue process until you've created four layers. Top with last slice of toasted bread.
